Case: 750 Jaar Amsterdam presents 'Festival Op de Ring'
Client: Gemeente Amsterdam & Audio Obscura
Location: A10, Amsterdam
As part of Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary celebrations, the A10 ring road — usually the city’s busiest traffic route — was closed off on June 20th, 2025, and transformed into a one-of-a-kind cultural stage. Under the name Festival Op de Ring, art, music, and community collided in a place normally ruled by cars. A rare and historic event.
Brada Media worked for both the main festival organization (in collaboration with the City of Amsterdam) and Audio Obscura, who hosted the standout ‘Highway Rave’ — an open-air electronic club experience on the asphalt itself. A one-time location, tight logistics and a diverse audience made this project a visual highlight — creative, energetic and iconic.
We captured full photography for both sides:
– For the festival: crowd, atmosphere, press and archival shots
– For Audio Obscura: a detailed photo series highlighting the vibe, crowd, artists and surreal setting on the highway.
